Independence Day


76th Independence Day-What better day to write about my motherland.

India was ruled by the British Empire and gained it's independence on Aug 15th 1947.All the credit goes to our freedom fighters, of course who fought for the country.India was a very rich country with lots of Kingdoms before the British rule.Disunity among the Kingdoms resulted in the downfall of the country.Locals greatly suffered,were made slaves,jailed and tortured in their own land.It was because of the hard work of our forefathers and their vision of an independent India that eventually lead to freedom.

India is a biodiverse,multilingual, multicultural country with 28 states and 8 union territories.It has forests,backwaters,mountain areas,towns,rural areas,seas etc.


The President of India is Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister is Narendra Modi.

India has a lot of talented people like poets,musicians,actors,scientists,doctors,engineers,astronauts,daily wage workers etc.The literacy rate in India is also high, with Kerala having the highest literacy rate.Iconic landmarks like Taj Mahal in Agra are one of the Seven wonders of the world.


India was declared as a republic on 26th January 1950.India is a secular country with many religions like Hinduism,Islam, Christianity,Zoroastrianism,Sikhism,Jainism etc.

The national anthem of India was written by Rabindranath Tagore.National animal-Tiger,national bird -Peacock,National flower -Lotus and national tree-Banyan tree.

Our flag is tricoloured with bands of Saffron,white and green with Ashoka chakra in the centre.🇮🇳

Sadly,India is still facing many social issues like Gender inequality disunity among different religions ,rape, suicides,murders,theft etc.Many Indians now ,choose to migrate to other parts of the world due to fear of staying in their home country and getting tortured.

I pray on this day that our India turns out to be a Just,safe country with no violence just like our leaders envisioned .

I am indeed proud to be an Indian.

My younglings

 I was thinking 🤔 of the topic for my next blog when I thought it should be about children. Children are a trust(Amanah) placed on us by our Lord and given to us for a destined time.Nobody gets to choose parents.All babies are born with Fitrah(natural inclination),pure.Then it is the family ofcourse who bring up their children with certain values,morals etc. We live in a world where some have children and some don't ,that again is ofcourse the will of God. Babyhood-A child is born.He/she is given a name and cared for as they are completely dependent.Slowly they start to smile,recognize and explore the world around them. Some personal experiences-  Shaza was born,she was the first granddaughter on both sides too.She was basically a quiet baby,who didn't create much trouble for me.
