To my love, To my sweetheart, To the one who completed me, To the one with whom,my name was written, To the coolness of my eyes, To the father of our children, To my man, To the scent of my life, 15 years since we became one, Together we sailed through ups & downs, But even with our shortcomings we did endure and learned to overlook, Our little ones joined us & beautified our journey, We are still the same young couple, With few more kilos added to me and grey hairs, Very grateful to be yours and wish the same in the eternal paradise, Where it is happily ever after. With lots of love, Your habeebti, Dillu

Letter to Said Ali Clan

Assalamu alaikum wrwb,to each and every one of you. Alhamdulillah, I am blessed to be part of such a loving family. It is indeed a very difficult time for all of us since our Umma isn't well.It is not easy to see her this way. What I feel is Allah has given everyone a chance to be with her,all of you together like your childhood days.Imagine the happiness that would give her.Alhamdulillah you were lucky to have her nearby during your youth days. As we know, sickness erases off sins ,so in sha Allah it will be for goodness. What better time than Ramadan for you all to be near your mother.Allah has given you all that chance and so much reward awaits. May Allah grant Umma whatever is Khair and May He keep our family united in the generations to come too..Ameen Stay strong. With lots of love and prayers , Dahlia Mohammed Ali (Dillu)

My younglings

I was thinking 🤔 of the topic for my next blog when I thought it should be about children. Children are a trust(Amanah) placed on us by our Lord and given to us for a destined time.Nobody gets to choose parents. All babies are born with Fitrah(natural inclination),pure. Then it is the family ofcourse who bring up their children with certain values, morals etc. We live in a world where some have children and some don't ,that again is ofcourse the will of God. Babyhood-A child is born.He/she is given a name and cared for as they are completely dependent.Slowly they start to smile, recognize and explore the world around them. Some personal experiences-  Shaza was born, she was the first granddaughter on both sides too.She was basically a quiet baby, who didn't create much trouble for me. Along came Amani, she was a 'tomboy' who was a little naughty. Liyana was more like Shaza. She was also quiet not very naughty . Aiman ,the boy after these 3 was and is indeed naughty😃. It amaz...

A poem dedicated to Gaza

Image
GAZA Oh, our brethren in GAZA, As the rest of the world looks on like from a plaza, Our hearts bleed for you & we wish we could stop the war, As the innocent ones, even the youngest are killed for no reason. Why this, hatred I wonder, When everything is demolished and taken away, Just waiting and praying  , waiting for the destiny And not for a minute doubting The Lord, Having full faith that ,the eternal victory is theirs. If not here ,then in the Hereafter. The oppressors think they can defeat you, But it has only made the oppressed stronger, We wish there was more humanity and no wars. Genocide cannot be justified, For selfish motives to be fulfilled We stand for our brethren in Palestine The final victory will be theirs About this, there is no doubt, Till then ,they will endure With full faith in the Almighty Bloodshed is not a solution , For ...

Death

DEATH  When the inevitable moment of passing arrives, Will we be prepared? To confront what fate has ordained? Our sacred scriptures forewarned, Every soul shall taste the embrace of death. Did we truly pay heed? Or were we entrapped, In the fleeting allure of this earthly abode? Let us remind ourselves and our cherished ones, Of the day that is guaranteed to arriv...

Neighbors

Image
I decided to ✍️ this article since, we all are neighbors.Well ,what is a good neighbor? One who is approachable ,helpful, kind, considerate of others privacy and feelings.Sometimes, in this so called materialistic world ,we get so busy ,that we hardly get to know even our next door 🚪 neighbors.I truly understand and respect that some don't want to mingle. We will take our lift as an example😊.In the mornings it gets so crowded, that everyone tends to just push each other and be selfish in that because sometimes our children miss the bus. Now to my personal experience,I have been blessed to get good neighbors, even when I was in Kerala and after I reached UAE too. My fourth delivery was at the peak time of Corona- April 2020, when flights were banned, schools closed, work from home started etc.For my other 3 deliveries my mom used to come down to assist me and leave after I settled. This time too, both my parents had decided to come but just the day before, their flight was banned. My kids ...
