Reality


Greet each Sunrise with a smile,🌞

Yes ,you  have  to  run another mile,🏃

Start off  with obligatory prayers,

Then the Tiffin and meals,

Leaving the sink piled with dishes,

Laundry basket with piles of clothes,

Little mouths waiting to be fed,

Husbands wanting to be attended,

No retirement,

No betterment,

No wages,
 
No thank yous,

Working round the clock,🧑‍🍳

Even on those days of the month,

When you just want to cuddle up in bed,

Tiny hands call you to be fed,

Dressed and cleaned,

Even your spouse wants that meal,

Can't find his keys.

Only thing you are excused from is your prayers,

Because He knows.

Even a shower or a nap becomes a luxury,

For a mom of little ones🧕👪

Picking up toys,

Clearing the mess,

Days seem long and never ending,

Reward awaits you from your Lord,

Intend well ,do everything for His sake,

And you won't feel like a keepsake.

Beautify yourselves and your souls,

For you have a Lord who loves you,

The first step in His Paradise ,

And you forget all vice

It's worth it,to endure.

Have Gratitude for the food, family and clothes,

There are millions who wish to be in your shoes

My younglings

 I was thinking 🤔 of the topic for my next blog when I thought it should be about children. Children are a trust(Amanah) placed on us by our Lord and given to us for a destined time.Nobody gets to choose parents.All babies are born with Fitrah(natural inclination),pure.Then it is the family ofcourse who bring up their children with certain values,morals etc. We live in a world where some have children and some don't ,that again is ofcourse the will of God. Babyhood-A child is born.He/she is given a name and cared for as they are completely dependent.Slowly they start to smile,recognize and explore the world around them. Some personal experiences-  Shaza was born,she was the first granddaughter on both sides too.She was basically a quiet baby,who didn't create much trouble for me.
