Friday(Yaum ul Jumuah)


 Assalamu Alaikum Wrwb

Importance of Friday

-Yaum ul Jumuah (Friday) is the best day that the sun rises (HADITH)

-Adam(Mpbuh) was created ,he entered Jannah

-He came into this earth

-He repented to Allah

-Day of Judgement will occur on Friday(Nabi SAW)

Friday is said to be the leader of other days.It is a day of happiness for the believers.Everyone leaves their work and businesses and rush to the remembrance of Allah.Not rushing physically but with dignity and Sakeenah.(peace of mind).

It is a blessed day.Whoever dies on friday will be saved from the punishment of the grave.(Thursday after maghrib till Friday maghrib). SUBHANALLAH!!!

According to Ibn al Qayyim- Fire of hell becomes hotter everyday except friday.

In Jannah ,every jumuah day ,their inhabitants will become more beautiful.

There will be no prayers in Jannah,whoever remembers Allah in this world-Allah will show his face to them.(This is by far the greatest reward)

Etiquettes of Friday

Jumuah prayer with khutbah.

It is waajib (compulsory) for males to attend.

Only travellers and terminally ill are exempted.

Taking bath is waajib,purifying,cleansing,applying perfume,wearing best clothes,cutting nails,Removing hair all is to be done.

Whoever purifies,cleanses himself,comes to jumuah khutbah,listens,prays without disturbing others ,his sins will be forgiven(Hadith).

Walking to masjid is Sunnah.(Every step is rewarded).

Intentionally,no one should delay listening to the khutbah as the blessings won't be gained.

No one should speak during khutbah,Not even replying to salam or responding to sneezing.All these are prohibited actions.

  June 3-It has been 4 years now since we lost him. Many a times I have thought of writing about him but each time I would be flooded with memories. Dr Abdul Manaf, was a wonderful person, a good son, a loving brother, husband, father and uncle. As they say all goodness in one package. As our ancestors say good people are taken away quickly because our Lord loves them. My husband is the eldest son, Manaf was 6 years younger to him. A woman from paradise

When we talk about role models, who comes to your mind? Some politician, freedom fighter, actor, or actress. We have so many role models in our Islamic History, but, sadly, we are unaware of many of them. Our beloved Prophet Muhammad(PBUH) is our best role model. Many of his companions-both male and female are also Heros of Islam. Today, I would like to talk about a lady who was granted glad tidings of Paradise,  twice in her life. Barakah bint thalabah was an Abyssinian slave. She was bought by our Prophet's grandfather Abdul Muttalib and she was given as a wedding gift to Abdullah, our Prophet's (PBUH) father, and his mother Aminah. Barakah provided support to Aminah at the time when she was alone. Aminah had a dream of some lights shooting from her abdomen and lighting up the mountains, hills, and valleys of Makkah. My motherhood journey

  My matrescence was during the age of 23.I was still in college doing my UG .It was joyful between the stress of college life.I took leave when I started feeling tired .Then our Shaza was born.I went back to continue my studies when she was around 5 months. After my course we went back home to join her dad.The initial years were filled with excitement and ups and downs of how a new mother would feel especially when so many advise on many things of what to feed the child,diaper or cloth napkin etc.Her dad was busy with work and studies and sometimes had night shifts.Me and Shaza used to spend time doing things we enjoyed,like watching her favourite shows or mine,making chains,bracelets etc.  Then when she joined play school,I did a course.Then Amani came along,Shaza had started her Kg.So then I was balancing my roles in teaching Shaza, sending her to school and taking care of baby Amani.
