 It was in the month of Ramadhan that an event occurred that transformed the life of Muhammad. He(PBUH) was forty years old. He was alone in the cave of Mount Hira, He was worshipping Allah .Angel Jibreel (as)   came to him and said to Him:   "Read"!."I cannot read" Muhammad replied. Jibreel (as) took hold of him and pressed him ,till he couldn't endure any longer. Once again after letting him go, the angel said "Read" .The same thing happened once again. Then the angel released him and said: "Read in the name of your Lord, the Creator. He who created man from a clot.  Read! And your Lord is the Most Bounteous."
